The Graduate..!

When we all entered college...It was like going to school again...Parents came to see their child enter a new stage of their life..Everyone had those glossy picture of college framed in their minds as is shown in movies...But no one fell in love the first day..no razzmatazz...entirely new zone....We all had our inhibitions..'We'd never make friends,like we did in school..!'....Few crackled at once...few took time to come out of their shell..But eventually each one settled...and had their share of fun..

There is a strange feeling living these last days..People have started echoing their 'college-love sentiments' on Facebook...Jokes are giving away their space to sentimental messages in the in-box...It isn't the same when you draw close to your school life..Back then you were excited to enter a new world that would allow you freedom to do things you couldn't till now..You were about to get your guilt-free pass..Now you are again about to enter the school again....the SCHOOL OF LIFE..and this time you ain't got no guilt-free pass..You would be judged on everything you do..No excuses for submitting late assignments..No more poking fun at the 'teacher'...'Teacher' might just be a bit more harsh this time..!

Being a hardcore movie aficionado I can't resist DJ knocking onto my head..."..college gate de is taraf,hum life ko nachaate hain...te duji taraf life humko nachaati hai.."..True to the dislike of most of us..and like DJ most of us would not like to come out of our college skins for long..But as the Nelly Furtado song goes..

"Flames to dust, Lovers to friends, Why do all good things come to an end?"

Every 'good' thing must eventually come to an end..We need to accept tha fact..Life can't be a merry-go-round all the way..!!

So sprinkle the best memories upon the soil of your heart...Those mass uproar of laughter...'that' unexpressed feeling...your nasty professor....Forget few grudges...Because some where down the lines you would meet your 'not-so-good friend' pop-up amidst unknowns and remind you of other good things of the past..Feel the moment..It would never come again...!..Promises will be made to catch-up every year or two....Reunions will be planned[You did the same when you left your school..didn't you?]..Few 'on-the-brink of tears' smiles..!...and you''ll graduate to take admission in to the kindergarten of life..!


Some years down the road,after a tiring day at work,sitting besides your window in the rains,you might realize you had 'the time of your life.'..and it will never come again..!!
